Adding a stanchion on the edge of the galley counter provided an opportunity to also add a cupboard over the galley sink. The cupboard is built of 1/2" MDO plywood covered with frosty white Formica. The teak trim strips are simply screwed in place so they can be removed for varnishing. In addition to the paper towel rack under the cabinet, there is also a florescent light mounted there.
